About Us
Bob Welsh, President and Co-Founder
Bob has spent nearly 20 years in the insurance and technology industries. Prior to founding Fallick & Welsh, Bob was a Principal at an East Bay insurance brokerage which focused on small and mid-market employer groups.
Bob grew up in Santa Clara, California and graduated from Saint Mary's College in Moraga, CA. Bob is a long time San Francisco Giants fan, and enjoys running, golfing and skiing. Bob is a member of the Golden Gate Association of Health Underwriters and National Association of Health Underwriters. He lives in Danville with his wife and their three children.
Jeff Fallick, Co-Founder
Jeff started his career at United Health Care and then spent four years at Blue Shield of California managing their small group sales division for Northern California. In addition, he spent several years at eHealth Insurance, a leading national health insurance agency, and NaviMedix, Inc., a healthcare technology company that provides a platform enabling physicians and hospitals to communicate with health insurance companies via the Internet.
Jeff grew up in Sunnyvale, California and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Psychology. Jeff is an avid San Francisco Giants and Miami Dolphins fan and enjoys golfing, travel and playing drums. Jeff also serves on the Board of Directors for Community Gatepath of Burlingame; a non-profit organization in San Mateo County that provides early childhood development services to children with special needs and vocational training to adults with disabilities. He lives with his wife and two children in Los Altos.
Mike Carpenter, Vice President – Commercial Products
Mike began his insurance career in 1987 as a commercial insurance underwriter for Industrial Indemnity in Walnut Creek, CA. Since 1990, Mike has focused on Commercial Products and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Fallick & Welsh team.
Mike grew up in Merced, California and graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a degree in Business Economics. Mike has been involved in competitive swimming and water polo since childhood. He coached aquatics for 15 years at the high school level. He currently competes in swimming at the Masters level and helps coach an age group swim team. He enjoys a very occasional round of golf and lives in Merced, California with his wife and four children.
Holly Long, Vice President of Private Client Services
Holly began her insurance career 15 years ago at Sedgwick James offering consulting services to high-net worth clients for their risk management and personal insurance needs. She joined Marsh in 1999 after their acquisition of Sedgwick James. In addition to working in the personal insurance space, she also worked for Tri-City Brokerage for eight years and ran their private directors and officers and employment practices liability department. However, her love for the personal side of the business brought her back to what she loves most: providing consulting for individual clients and their families.
Holly joined Fallick & Welsh as Vice President of Private Client Services to broaden the service offerings of the firm. She provides clients with complimentary reviews of their personal insurance program to identify what coverage is currently in place and any gaps in coverage. She insures all lines of coverage such as home, auto, umbrella, earthquake, flood and collectibles such as jewelry and fine art.
Holly grew up in Southern California and moved to San Francisco in 1997. She and her husband Eric are raising two girls in Moraga, CA. Holly serves as a board member for the Moraga Education Foundation. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, exercising and spending time with her family.
